Introduction

This policy explains what information Addis Tags collects, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.

What we collect

When you register a tag, we collect your name, email address, and phone number so the finder of a lost item can contact you. Your email is stored encrypted at rest. We do not sell or share your contact details with third parties.

Messages and location

Messages between finder and owner are sent through Addis Tags so your contact details stay private. If a finder chooses to share their approximate location, that location is stored on your tag’s record so you can find your item.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you logged in (via magic links) and to protect against form spoofing (CSRF). On the production site we also use Google Analytics to understand which features people use.

Your rights

You can reset a tag at any time, which clears its registration. To delete an account or request a copy of your data, email mila.addis@icloud.com.
